When sharing images, covers, or content in our Q&A sections and community forums, it's important to respect intellectual property rights while fostering meaningful professional discussions.

Images and Visual Content

What You CAN Share:

  • Your own original photos and graphics
  • Images you've purchased with proper licensing
  • Screenshots of your own work or documents (with client info removed)
  • Stock photos with appropriate licenses
  • Images clearly marked as Creative Commons or public domain

What You CANNOT Share:

  • Copyrighted book covers without permission
  • Screenshots from copyrighted training materials
  • Images found through Google searches without checking licensing
  • Copyrighted infographics or charts from other sources
  • Patient/client photos (HIPAA violation regardless of copyright)

Q&A Content Guidelines

Acceptable Content:

  • Your own professional experiences and insights
  • Paraphrased concepts from training (in your own words)
  • General industry knowledge and best practices
  • Questions about professional scenarios (with identifying details removed)

Copyright Concerns:

  • Don't copy/paste large portions of text from books or articles
  • Avoid reproducing proprietary assessment tools or forms
  • Don't share copyrighted training handouts or worksheets
  • Limit direct quotes to brief excerpts with proper attribution

Best Practices for Community Sharing

When in Doubt:

  • Create your own visual content instead of using others'
  • Describe concepts in your own words rather than copying text
  • Ask permission before sharing someone else's work
  • Credit sources appropriately when referencing others' ideas

Safe Alternatives:

  • Use your platform's provided templates and resources
  • Create simple graphics with free tools like Canva (using their free elements)
  • Share links to publicly available resources instead of copying content
  • Describe or summarize rather than reproduce
